One for our first “child” and one for our second child, who’ll be here in a few weeks.
She normally stands on it, like this:
That’s why it is so smashed and ragged looking. I had to basically make her sit down for these few pictures.

Ah, pending parenthood. I remember those days. A few of helpful tips:
1. You can never have enough baby wipes on hand, and always have at least two back-up outfits for the boy/girl when heading out.
2. Never give teathing babies those glow stick necklace things. However, if you forget, glow sticks are non-toxic, even when bitten in half. It looks horrifying, with glowing liquid in your kids mouth, but it won’t kill them.
3. Front facing baby mirrors are a must when having a new born in a rear facing car seat. I couldn’t stand driving with my son/daughter in the car, and not seeing what they were up to when I was driving. I mirror placed in front of them, angled so i could see it in my rear view, was very helpful.

Got the mirrors on each car’s headrests. The CX-5 doesn’t have a rear parcel shelf so its mirror clips around the headrest in it. The one in the 6 clips to the tether anchors on the rear parcel shelf.
And this kid isn’t even born yet and has a dang dresser full of outfits. Oh, and as for wipes and diapers...this is just the start of our collection.

That seems to be a good start. My brother & his wife adopted a baby girl about 2 years ago, and they received a boat load of diapers. Most were for newborn infants, but they received her when she was 3+/- months old. Ended up giving most of them to a shelter and other places of need, as their girl grew out of them so damn fast. Better to have and not need, then need and not have, I always say.

I highly suggest a change of clothes for you and/or the mrs. live in each car in case there is a bodily fluid incident involving your clothing. We didn’t want to carry an additional bag for our clothes with the diaper bag so we just used a pair of promotion gym bags to stuff a change of clothes, older bath towel, and a trash bag for dirty clothes and tossed one in each car.
